Evelyn Maher Alumnae Endowment Fund
The Mercy Alumnae Association announced the establishment of the Evelyn Maher Alumnae Endowment Fund at its Annual Brunch in November. The purpose of the Evelyn Maher Fund is to provide tuition assistance to daughters or granddaughters of Mercy alumnae.

The Fund is named is honor of Miss Evelyn Maher who retired from Mercy after thirty-five years at the school. Miss Maher dedicated her entire career to Mercy and served in many roles including teacher, coach, guidance counselor and mentor. Because she touched the lives of nearly every student at Mercy, the Association was pleased to name its first of its kind Fund in her honor.

If you would like more information about the Fund or are interested in contributing to it, please call Marilyn Skoge in the Alumnae office at 860-347-8957 or e-mail her at mskoge@mercyhigh.com.

Annual Fund
The purpose of the Annual Fund is to provide Mercy with a part of the budget that is not met by tuition. The actual cost for a student to attend Mercy is $1,000 more than what tuition covers, therefore the Annual Fund is an important resource.

Students and faculty members directly benefit from the Annual Fund as money raised supports academic programs, financial aid, extracurricular activities and enhancements to the school. For example, funds raised from last year's Annual Fund Drive helped to upgrade technology in our new computer labs.

Alumnae, parents, past parents, faculty, former faculty and staff members all participate in the Annual Fund. You are invited to help support the Annual Fund at one of these levels:
   Loyalty Circle $25 to $99
   Honors Circle $100 to $499
   Mercy Circle $500 to $999
   McAuley Society $1,000 or more

Your gift may be doubled or tripled by your employer if they have a matching gift program. Ask your human resources representative for a matching gift form.

The Annual Fund year runs from July 1 through June 30. Your tax-deductible gift is appreciated.
