Dates to Remember!
“Mercy Girl for a Day”
Mercy encourages prospective students to spend a day at the school with a current Mercy student during the months of October through April.
Interested eighth graders, as well as those already enrolled in high school, should complete the online form to facilitate scheduling a visit. This form also includes information regarding drop off and pick up times, dress for the day, and lunch. Seventh grade students may visit starting March 1st.
April, 2012
- Information will be sent regarding bussing, car pooling and physicals.
April 25, 2012
- Uniform Measuring at Mercy 4:00 – 7:oo p.m.
June 8 & 9, 2012
- Algebra, Spanish and French exams for students who have been recommended for Geometry, Spanish 2 and/or French 2. Each test is offered both days. Select the most convenient date.
· Algebra 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
· Spanish and French – 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
June 25 to July 6, 2012
- Math and English Summer Enrichment Course
Session Times: 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Classes do not meet on Wednesday, July 4th .
Early July, 2012
- Information will be sent regarding course lists, textbook ordering, and summer math and reading assignments.
July 16, 2012
- Uniform Measuring at Mercy 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
July, 2012
- July Parent Newsletter will be sent outlining school related information including the fall sports tryout schedule and sports physicals.
August, 2012
- August 16th -12/noon Fall Sport Physicals for freshwomen and sophomores
- August 23rd - 12/noon Fall Sport Physiclas for juniors and seniors
Mid-August, 2012
- Course schedules will be sent, including detailed teacher and classroom information.
- August Parent Newsletter will be sent outlining important orientation and first day of school dates and dress code.
