Color Craze Registration

Color Craze 2018 is hosted by the Mercy Alumnae Association to raise much needed funds for Mercy High School. The family-friendly day begins with a Fun Run/Walk for children and adults at 10:30 am, followed by a 5K Cross Country Run at 11:00 am. There will be food trucks, a vendor fair and children's activities (face painting, crafts, etc.) throughout the day. 



Fun Color Run/Walk Registration (1/4 mile course)

  • $5 per person
  • $10 for a group of 2-5 registrants (bring your friends and family members!) All registrant names must be supplied at time of registration

5K Cross Country Color Run Registration (3.1 mile course)

  • First 50 registrants receive a 2018 commemorative t-shirt
  • $30 through April 30
  • $35 May 1 through May 18

I know that participating in a run/walk event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically ab le and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I hereby certify that I am in good health and I have trained to run the distance of the race, which I am entering. I assume all risks associated with running in this event and any pre-and post- activities associated with this event including, but not limited to:  falls contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the track as such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry into this race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf waive and release Mercy High School Alumnae Association, its officers, directors, agents, volunteers and employees, all states, cities courses or other governmental body or locations in which events or segments of events are held, all sponsors and vendors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my voluntary participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.  I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, or any other record of this event in any broadcast, telecast, social media advertising, promotional or other account of this event. I acknowledge that my entry fee is non-refundable, including if the race is cancelled, and I agree I will not chargeback or dispute the credit card transaction. By proceeding with this event registration, I agree that the terms of the registration agreement shall apply equally to me and to any third parties for whom I am acting as agent. I represent and warrant that, in compliance with COPPA, I am over thirteen (13) years of age, and that if I am registering a child under eighteen (18) years of age I am the parent or guardian of such child, and do hereby consent to the collection of such child’s personal information by Mercy. I understand that children aged thirteen (13) or under must be accompanied by an adult and must not be left unattended.

I further understand that bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or inline skates and animals are not allowed in the event and I will abide by this policy. I also understand that baby joggers are highly discouraged for the safety of all participants. I am aware that Mercy High School strongly discourages the use of personal audio devices. I authorize any healthcare provider to release any and all information pertaining to my healthcare, medical condition and medical treatment as a result of my participation in this Mercy High School Alumnae Association event to the Mercy High School and its staff. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, it shall be severed and the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Connecticut.
