Career Day

As part of our annual Career Day, graduates from nearly every decade of our school’s history returned to Randolph Road to tell their stories and provide whatever guidance they could.

For nearly three hours,  students were provided with all the inspiration they could want in nearly every field they could imagine.

In the cafeteria, students heard from a healthcare panel, the engineering panel was in the auditorium and the career fair was held in the multipurpose room where alums and guests spoke individually to students.

Swim Team Reunion - March 27th

Fantastic night with amazing women!! It was wonderful to have four coaches and assistants in attendance to reunite with "their" girls and reminisce. Thank you Heather Kelly' 06 for hosting at Harrie's Jailhouse in Middletown!

Those were great years. Lots of memories. I can still smell chlorine in my nostrils!

So much fun!!! Can't wait to do it again!

Testimonials:

It was a great evening with fellow alumnae, clients, and friends.

My favorite takeaways:

“Ask a zillion questions, and then ask one more.”

“Reverse Eulogy”- every year for someone’s birthday, a holiday, or a one-off, telling them what you love about them. Now. Not waiting until you’re at the podium telling the world how great they were. Let’s tell the people we love why we love them now.

JW- Financial Services Professional '00 alumna

This presentation really has made me to think about things I don't want to think about. Sometimes, I joke why do I care? - I'll be gone! But when I think about the herculean task left to those I love, it becomes a little less funny. When you begin to think about these things and you start to talk about them, to plan them and to take action on them, it becomes less hard. When I complete my action plan, I know I will feel a burden lifted and life will be so much more enjoyable knowing I left those I love with more answers than questions. Also, there will be joy in my heart knowing everything was done my way!

Visits with Santa was held December 8, 2023

We had it all as we opened our doors for a special night with Santa! Alumnae and their families enjoyed story time, photos, holiday cookies, winter arts and crafts, reindeer games, pizza and Christmas carols. As an added treat, families toured the school with their elf and voted for their favorite decorated classroom door.

All Class Reunion held September 9, 2023

Women of Mercy have always been resourceful and capable of handling any situation. That remains true today.

At our All Class Reunion, you wouldn’t have expected a fire drill to happen as over 100 graduates and former faculty and staff were back for a special homecoming, but that’s exactly what happened.

As usual, the moment was embraced and enjoyed. Nothing was going to bring down a day that saw so many people return home to celebrate this family and honor 60 years of graduates.

Since the very beginning, our community has been bonded by support and unity.

At Mercy, young women from across the state were, and continue to be, empowered to grow into the best versions of themselves.

The Mercy community is now 60 years strong and boasts over 9,000 alumnae, who have been called to follow their passions and goals in endless ways.

They are … Women of Purpose, Women of Mercy.

We are excited to honor that legacy and prepare for the next 60 years.

The day was a wonderful celebration of everything that is timeless about the Circle of Mercy. We want to thank our alumnae for making this day possible. You each make Mercy what it always has been and always will be - a home.

We hope you enjoy the photos from the All Class Reunion by clicking the link below.
