International Students

"Thanks to the wide variety of courses and activites Mercy has to offer, I was able to discover my passion for technology. I was welcomed warmly to the Mercy community"    -Doris, Class of 2019 Valedictorian

Traditionally, the international student population is approximately 3% to 5% of the student body. Maintaining this percentage allows each girl an opportunity to fully immerse herself in the Mercy community and easily make friends. Mercy has recently hosted students from China, Italy, Greece, Austria.

Our international students receive support from the minute they arrive on campus from members of the administration, teachers, and students. Each girl is matched with a “Big Sister” to help with her transition to Mercy. When she reaches her junior year, she will be ready to be a “Big Sister” to an incoming freshwoman.

International tudents are encouraged to become active members of the school through athletics, clubs and student council.

All Mercy students work with a School Counselor, who assists with the transition to academic and social life at Mercy, as well as provide comprehensive assistance through the college application process.  Please view the School Profile.
