A new group of seniors are ready to leave their mark at Mercy High School.
On Monday, August 23, the Class of 2027 experienced the first of many senior milestones: our annual Go The Mile Commissioning Mass and Ceremony.
After coming together earlier this summer at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford for a two-day retreat, the class returned to Mercy High School to finalize their class mission statement, celebrate Mass with Father Greg Galvin, and officially become the next great Mercy leaders.
This year's leadership retreat was 29th edition of the Go The Mile retreat. However, this was the first time the conference was broken into two parts. In June, the class came together at the University of Saint Joseph to get to know each other better as senior leaders, and to listen to several different presentations. The final part of the conference was held later in August when the group was able to reflect and put everything together.
