Motivated by our esteemed faculty and innovative classes, all students are encouraged to test their limits, while exploring new and interesting ways of learning.

With four levels of study (college prep, advanced college prep, honors, and Advanced Placement) and a wide array of academic opportunities and programs, our students spend every day developing into critical thinkers and lifelong learners who are prepared for the real world and whatever path they might chose after graduating.

We debate, we question, we listen, we connect, we collaborate, we study, we read, and most importantly, we achieve.

Along with our traditional offerings and practices for all our students, Mercy students have the option to be part of so many new experiences at Mercy, including our Business Academy, AP Capstone Diploma Program, UConn Early College Experience classes, and our partnerships with Post University, University of St. Joseph and Quinnipiac.

Our goal every year is to provide the type of transformative academic experience that has always produced principled Mercy leaders and scholars, and no matter what you're looking for academically, you will find it at Mercy.

A Few Words From Our Principal

_{At Mercy High School we are committed to developing the whole person. Through our Athletic Programs, various clubs and activities and religious experiences, we address the many facets of a student’s life. Most especially, through our Academic Programs, we offer each student a pathway to her dreams and fulfilling her potential.}

_{We specialize in taking each young woman wherever she is in that first year of high school, coming from whatever public, private or home school situation she has had and putting her on the road to academic success. From there the opportunities abound.}

_{It is the expectation that every Mercy student is college bound and to that end, all coursework is pointing her in that direction. With over 17 Advanced Placement courses offered, Dual Enrollment partnerships with Post University, Quinnipiac University and the University of St. Joseph, the opportunity to challenge themselves with rigorous coursework and earn credits toward their college degrees is available to all our young women.}
