Admissions

“Mercy women know by heart that you are always welcome in these halls. There is nothing like the spirit of Mercy. You will connect with other Mercy girls around the world every place you go in life because we all have experienced that spirit.” – Mercy Student

It’s all about the fit! The best way for a student to determine if Mercy High School is right for her is to visit the school and see for herself!

Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students and their families to take guided tours of the school, learn all about the academics, activities, clubs and athletics, and meet the administration, the faculty, students and parents!

Private tours can also be arranged by contacting the Director of Admissions.

Discover Mercy is a Saturday morning program offered in the spring for fifth, sixth and seventh grade girls and their parents, to get their first look at Mercy by enjoying activities and informal conversations with Mercy students, parents, administrators and faculty.

Most important, Mercy encourages young women considering Mercy to become a “Mercy Girl for a Day."  Interested seventh and eighth graders, as well as those students in high school who are considering a transfer, can arrange to experience a day at Mercy. Each visiting student spends the day with a Mercy student with similar interests, follows her class schedule, meets her friends, has lunch in the cafeteria and gets a great feel for what it’s like to go to Mercy.

"Mornings at Mercy!" is another opportunity for prospective students and parents to experience Mercy during the school day from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.  They spend the morning meeting students, faculty, school guidance counselors and administrators, tour the campus, visit classrooms, dine in the Mercy Commons cafeteria and visit the school store.

To become a "Mercy Girl for a Day" and/or to spend a "Morning at Mercy!", complete this online form or call the Director of Admissions 860-346-6659 x115.

To apply to Mercy High School, the formalities include completing an online application to Mercy, submitting the Records Release Form to the student's current school, and taking the Entrance Exam.
