Admissions
“Mercy women know by heart that you are always welcome in these halls. There is nothing like the spirit of Mercy. You will connect with other Mercy girls around the world every place you go in life because we all have experienced that spirit.” – Mercy Student
It’s all about the fit! The best way for a student to determine if Mercy High School is right for her is to visit the school and see for herself!
Start by attending Discover Mercy, a Saturday morning program offered in the spring for fifth, sixth and seventh grade girls and their parents, to get their first look at Mercy by enjoying activities and informal conversations with Mercy students, parents, administrators and faculty.
Continue on to Open House, where eighth grade students and their families take guided tours of the school, learn all about the academics, activities, clubs and athletics, and meet the Principal, the faculty, and even more Mercy students! Private tours can also be arranged by contacting the Director of Admissions.
Most important, Mercy encourages any student considering Mercy to become a “Mercy Girl for a Day”! Interested seventh and eighth graders, as well as those students in high school who are considering a transfer, can arrange to spend a day at Mercy. Each visiting student spends the day with a Mercy student with similar interests, follows her class schedule, meets her friends, has lunch in the cafeteria and gets a great feel for what it’s like to go to Mercy. To become a "Mercy Girl for a Day" call the Director of Admissions at 860.346.6659 or complete this form.
The formalities include completing an Application and Records Release Form, and taking the Entrance Exam.
