Safety and Transportation

Mercy provides a safe and healthy environment for all of its students. Extensive safety and crisis management plans are in place. All faculty, staff and coaches receive annual training in basic health and safety standards. A number of faculty and staff are trained in CPR. A registered nurse is in attendance at the school daily and there is a small infirmary. Medical treatment is limited to first aid care.

Students residing in Middletown have access to the Middletown Public School busing system at no charge. Buses are provided by Dattco Bus Company (860.635.8234)

Students residing outside of Middletown have access to buses from many towns provided by Durham School Services (860.571.0070) at a cost of $1,150.00 for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please use this link to register your daughter for out-of-town busing. 

Mercy and Xavier will issue bus credits if it becomes necessary to convert to fully remote learning during the 2020-2021 school year.  If this becomes necessary a bus refund of $28 a week will be credited to tuition accounts at the end of each semester.

Juniors and seniors may drive to school. There will be a $175 parking fee for the 2020 - 2021 school year.   Please use this link to register your daughter for a parking pass.
