 CHET 529 Savings Program

As of January 1, 2018, the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) allows up to $10,000 per year, per student, to be withdrawn - free from federal tax - from a 529 plan for tuition expenses at private or religious high schools. 


Transportation

Students residing in Middletown have access to the Middletown Public School busing system at no charge. Buses are provided by Dattco Bus Company (860.635.8234).  Middletown residents should  use this link to register for bus service for the 2023-2024 school year. 

Students residing outside of Middletown have access to buses from many towns provided by M & J Transportation at a cost of $1,700.00 for the 2023-2024 school year.  Please use this link to register your daughter for out-of-town busing.  Out-of-town bus routes are now available on FACTS Family Portal.

Juniors and seniors may drive to school.  Students need to purchase a parking pass and register their car with the Principal's Office.  Please contact Mrs. Broderick (lbroderick@mercyhigh.com) for more information.

Payment Options

In order to assist parents, Mercy offers several tuition payment plans through FACTS Tuition Management. 

Families can conveniently select a payment plan from 1 to 12 installments, view charges and credits, and make advanced deposits for their student through FACTS.


Scholarships and Financial Aid

Mercy offers scholarships and a generous financial aid program so that deserving young women can attend Mercy. Families apply for financial aid online.  New families, Class of 2029, can apply for financial aid online starting October 1, 2024 and the deadline for financial aid applications for the 2024-2025 academic year is December 15, 2024. All other classes can apply for financial aid online beginning January 1 and the deadline is March 1. 

Academic Scholarships are awarded to approximately twelve incoming freshwomen who achieve the highest scores on the Entrance Exams offered at Mercy in November or December. Award recipients are notified in early January. Mercy High School does not offer athletic scholarships.
