Mercy TechTigers Make History By Advancing To The World Championships Once Again!

Apr 10 2024

The Mercy TechTigers have made history.

After another memorable appearance at the New England District Championship this past week in Springfield, Mass., the group punched their tickets to the 2024 FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, which crowns the best of the best in high school robotics.

At the annual New England event, Techtigers 3654 received the highest distinction possible at the competition: the FIRST Impact Award, to secure its spot in the final event of the FIRST season and become the first high school team to ever reach six straight world championships.

Clad in their notorious orange, and seemingly everywhere supporting each other at the New England championship, the group was the epitome of what you want from any Mercy team or club when they step away from Mercy High School and pursue their passions.

Throughout the three-day event, each team member brought a level of focus, excitement and respect to what they were doing that would make every Mercy Alumnae and member of our community proud.

Congratulations to every member of the TechTigers!

The world championships will be held from April 17-20 in the Lone Star state.
