Tiana Harley '24 and Sophia Franchi '24 Named SCC Scholar Leaders

Sophia Franchi '24 and Tiana Harley '24 were recently named the 2024 Southern Connecticut Conference Scholar Leaders from Mercy High School.

 

Last week, Franchi and Harley were recognized at the 30th annual Scholar Leader Banquet at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven.

 

For both Franci and Harley, the dinner (which was sponsored by Avangrid) provided a well-earned moment in the sun.

 

Throughout their time at Mercy, the pair have proudly represented Mercy and its values, while also staying true to themselves. Whether it be through their impressive achievements in the classroom (both students are members of our National Honor Societies and recipients of several special awards), or their leadership outside the classroom on various teams or boards, they have done their best to live out the school’s mission.

 

As a community, we couldn’t be prouder of the example they have set as student leaders, and we can’t wait to see what they do after they graduate in May.
